Our Story

A small workshop in Gaziantep, since 1887.

Anatolia Mills is the work of four generations of the same family — coppersmiths and burr-makers who never stopped doing it by hand.

The way it should be made.

Most grinders today are pressed in a factory and assembled in minutes. Ours take days. Every brass body is hammered to thickness, lathed to shape, and engraved with motifs pulled from Ottoman calligraphy and Anatolian textiles.

The burr — the part that does the work — is hardened steel, cut on a single machine in the same workshop, and guaranteed for life. If it ever dulls, send it back. We'll replace it. No charge.
